Smoke Shack (Collaboration with BIT Brewery) will be releasing in the taproom this Wednesday, November 27th.
What started out as a crazy idea ended in a beautiful collaboration with friends and family.
On an early morning in Late September, we gathered around the Smoke Shack. Our house Munich and Pilsner Malt then spent the next 4 hours absorbing smoke over a slow smolder of Oak, Hickory, Cherry, and Applewood.
Three Days later our custom smoked malt was used in the making of Smoke Shack, a sweet yet smoky Rauchbier that pays tribute to the style’s origin in Bamberg, Germany.
We’d like to send a special thanks to Scott W. from Bit Brewery for collaborating with us, Scott S. For letting us use his custom smoker, and lastly Megan, Eric, and Kari for the great company. We will never forget the fond conversations and memories made over the love of Craft Beer!
