Big Grove Announces 7th Anniversary details!

7th

A brewery that is as good as any with their releases and celebrations has announced their Solon location’s 7th anniversary details! Food, beer, and socially distant fun will be had, this lineup includes some new beers and a the chefs will be doing up some smoked pork shoulder tacos. Here’s more on the anniversary party:

Join us Sunday in Solon to celebrate our 7th Anniversary! This year will look a little different from past anniversary parties—as we add a bit of socially-distant fun and subtract a few pieces from previous years that aren’t a fit in 2020.

Most importantly… here’s the tap lineup:
• Barrel Aged Velvet
• Color TV
• Batch 1000
• Turtle Hunter
• Solon Summer Series Peach Pecan Pie
• Stouted Nut Roll 🆕

We’ll be taking over the street in front of our brewpub to expand patio seating—and all guests must be seated by a host and remain at their table while dining. Face coverings are encouraged.

A specialty Big Grove-themed coloring book will be available for the kids. And we’ve added a from-your-table scavenger hunt with prizes. No chalk contest this year, unfortunately.

Our chefs will be doing a smoked pork shoulder taco special and the bakers are whipping up Sweet Corn Cheesecake and cupcakes! Our fabulous service staff brings the goods to your table.

We’ll have live music from 12-6, made up of former and current staff members.

We’re grateful to be celebrating a seventh anniversary. Back in 2013, we weren’t sure if we’d even have a one-year anniversary—and it’s been a fun ride every day since. This year’s been a doozy—but we believe we can celebrate responsibly. We’d be honored if you could join us.

As in year’s past, we will be open on Labor Day Monday 👍

richard

Big news from Big Grove Brewery last night as they subtly announced the release date for Richard the Whale for December 5th! It was a sneak peek at a Richard sampling so as of now, no details on the process release were given, but stay tuned for more information on that as that date approaches! Here’s what BG had to say courtesy of their Facebook page:

Pulled a sample of Richard the Whale 2020 today from this Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel. Annnnd can bet the beer is fire 🔥 But you may not know the barrel (and more specifically the nail we used to pierce the barrel) was on fire to keep the process sanitary.
😏 Oh and save the date for Saturday, December 5 for the release of our favorite barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout 🐳
