One of my favorite beers is coming back! Clock House Brewing will be bringing Pineapple Witch Slap to cans next Wednesday (4/15)! This beer will be available from 3-6 next Wednesday…word of warning..you may want to get there quick, depending on limits, I may gorge myself! Voted by me as one of the “Best Beers in Iowa 2019”, I can’t wait to get another taste. Check out my best of 2019 here, and here’s more on this wonderful brew:

The Witches are at it again and have decided to take our Flag Ship “Witch Slap NEIPA” to warmer places. They’ve added loads of Pineapple during primary and secondary fermentation to create a unique tropical twist. Don’t forget your sunglasses and fly into our taproom to enjoy our Hazy, Murky, Juicy Witch, infused with real pineapple! Get some while it lasts!

 

Big Grove Drive Thru offering 4 new beers for this weekend! (4/11-4/12)

Big Grove in both Solon and Iowa City will continue their popular drive thru for folks who need a burger and fries and some might fine ales to wash them down with! 4 new beers will be available along with many others. You will have until 8 p.m. on Friday to place your order and pick up times will be Saturday and Sunday from 11-2! Click HERE to place your order! What are the new brews? Here we go:

-We will only be accepting payments online, and credit card orders over the phone (319-200-4460). This way our payments are totally without contact. We will not be accepting cash for the time being. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we thank you for understanding.

– Until the closure of restaurants is lifted, we will not be allowing customers inside the taproom to pick up orders. We will take your vehicle make and model with your order and bring your food/beverage out to you when you arrive and place it in your back seat or trunk. We have been doing this 99% of the time already, so we decided to just make it Facebook official. Our doors will be locked. If you are on foot or bicycle, no problem. Just let us know when you place an order over the phone.

4 Big Grove releases coming this weekend: Turtle Hunter, Into the Woods, Red Wedding Wheat and Boysenberry Coffee Sour!

Big Grove Brewery continues to stay busy getting us beer amid this difficult time and this coming Saturday (4/4) they will once again be getting some fresh and delicious beer into our remarkable washed and clean hands. Here’s what’s coming this weekend:

*Turtle Hunter – this popular hazy IPA is back; featuring citra, mosaic, and ekuanot and checking in at 7.4%!

*Into the Woods – a collab with Copper Kettle brewing brings us kettle sour with lactose, blackberry, and raspberry and checks in at 6.4%.

*Boysenberry and Coffee Sour – this will be crowler fill only and is another beer brewed with JBC Coffee Roasters. For this particular beer they have used San Sebastian Colombia beans.

*Red Wedding Wheat – checking in at 4.7%, this fruited sour ale, brewed with blood orange and plum, is the perfect addition to your banquet table. Big Grove sends its regards
