DDH Link In Bio DIPA – 9% ABV
Our buds Yakima Chief Hops plugged us with the freshness in the form of their recently rechristened Cryo Pop Blend. As you may know, we like our dry hop additions to make sexy times with our yeast, and this blend was formulated specifically with that in mind. Double the dose of newly Cryo Pop from the OG along with healthy portions of our Hand-Selected Citra & Mosaic for maximum juice extraction. Hit the link in bio for that good good.

Dad’s Stoked TIPA – 10.5% ABV
Properly elevated portions of our hand-selected Mosaic, Citra and Sabro Cryo with Australian Galaxy to hit those Clarence Clemons low notes. He’s so stoked, you’d think the Wolves won the lottery.

Local 755 – 6.8% ABV
Our Foggy Favorite. Azacca, Amarillo & a Gwop of Citra. Soft, Juicy & Hazy like 70’s Home Movies.

Infinite Mmm…Osa – 8.0% ABV
We supersized our beloved pale ale to get a DIPA with incredible body, hit it with a supersized dose of the Mmm… Osa hop bill, and conditioned on Florida Navel Oranges. You get a bright yellow hazy citrusy DIPA that smells of futuristic oranges and tastes of dank orange fruit cup, peaches, and tang. The insane levels of fresh zest compliment the flavors and help mimic the fresh squeezed OJ Grandma used to make in the morning, just with next-level oranges… from the future. It has a chewy mouthfeel and absolutely explodes with our #EQjuice making sure your palate never runs out of your favorite any-time drink.

Solar Fluctuation – 8.5% ABV
We changed things up on this latest batch to see how can such a small variation drive major change.
Solar Fluctuation starts off a big dose of flaked oats and wheat for a creamy body. Citra and Idaho 7 went into the whirlpool before a dry hop of Citra, Sultana, and Rakau. Hazy yellow with aromas of passionfruit, pineapple and melon lead into flavors of bright citrus, passionfruit, cantoluope, and anjou pear. These fruit flavors lead up to our #EQjuice medley and morph into a creamy mouthfeel and soft bitterness on finish.

Fluctuating Fruits Papaya/Pineapple – 8.1% ABV
Fluctuating Fruits is back today with our newest combination of Papaya and Pineapple. We started off with our Fluctuation base, dry hopped it with Citra and Galaxy before adding more than a metric ton of Papaya and Pineapple. Pouring a light-peachy-yellow color, aromas of citrus and tropical fruit lead into flavors of an island fruit cup, ripe cantaloupe, mango, and tiki drinks all wrapped in a creamy sorbet finish. 

Origami Paper Airplanes – 8.0% ABV
Origami Paper Planes our new collaboration with Barreled Souls. It speaks to a collaborative love of aeronautics, air bending, differential pressures, and folding a creation together and watching ideas take flight. This beer uses large amounts of oats with massive doses of Enigma, Mosaic, and Columbus. Origami Paper Planes pours a saturated yellow with aromas of cannabis, earth, lime, papaya, and fresh cut grass and saturated flavors of candied orange, cantaloupe, mango juice, sticky icky, white grape, berry, and earthy pine wrapped up in a resinous #EQjuice finish. A few sips will have you taking flight! 

Side Dish DDH IPA – 7.0% ABV
Just in time to round out this summer season, Side Dish is making its hazy return! This soft and succulent DDH IPA is brewed with Citra and Idaho-7 for an insanely juicy profile fit for your next outdoor excursion. Side Dish packs huge flavors of sweet peach marmalade, ripe bergamot, candied cherries, and freshly-steeped oolong tea. Grab a pack to take to the local sunflower fields as we transition toward our autumnal winds. 

Morever DDH IPA
This Double Dry Hopped IPA is a delicious juice bomb thanks to a hefty hopping of Citra, Motueka, & Simcoe hops. An endless succession of juicy pineapple, grapefruit, and tangerine notes are leveled out with a hint of bitterness that resolves onto a smooth and refreshing finish.

Coastal Sunrise – Version 5
This version is inspired by mixed berry pancakes. Blueberries, blackberries and raspberries mix with barrel aged Wisconsin maple syrup, Madagascar vanilla beans and cinnamon. Reminiscent of   version 1 coastal sunrise, but with a bit more berry pop!

Rugged Outlook DDH TIPA – Version 2
This juicy triple IPA is jammed packed with some of our favorite hops throughout the entire brewing and cellaring progress. Hop additions to the boil, whirlpool, hop back, fermentation and conditioning tank fold in layers of natural flavors.

Nelson DDH Juicy Bits – 6.7% ABV
One of the sexiest and most extravagant hops on the market, brewing a Nelson Sauvin-focused DDH Juicy Bits was an absolute no-brainer for us. While this hop varietal can sometimes be to be too wild and dominating, we knew its complex characteristics would pair perfectly with our community of dedicated hazy hopheads.

Juicy Bits IPA – 6.7% ABV
This is a mouthwatering IPA filled with a fresh combination of sweet orange, pineapple, pear, underripe mango, watermelon and berry. Still, there is a touch of bitterness that threads itself through the whole drinking experience, helping to keep the beer experience at the forefront and not just a full-on glass of juice.

Fit Bits Hazy Session IPA – 4.2% ABV
Low calorie, low carb, Hazy Session IPA brewed with Citra, El Dorado, and Sabro hops. One of the most beautifully and uniformly hazy IPAs we have made, features notes of papaya, over-ripe mango, and peach skins from the huge whirlpool and dry hop additions, plus a surprisingly smooth and creamy mouthfeel for a beer that finishes so dry and crisp.

Pineapple Upside Down – 5.3% ABV
Berlin-style sour ale brewed with pineapple puree, almonds, milk sugar, vanilla & vanilla cake mix. The pineapple upside down cake was at the height of its fame in the 1950’s and 60’s and is again gaining popularity. So naturally we took everything that makes this treat so sublime and turned it into a beer.

Dreamyard Hazy IPA – 7.1% ABVAn New England IPA that’s made ENTIRELY from oats and wheat. Splendidly hazy with aromas of stonefruit, pineapple, and citrus. An insane amount of Citra and Denali hops per barrel make this beer an incredibly juicy and citrusy treat with an approachable level of bitterness.

Forbidden Islands DIPA – 8% ABV
New England Double IPA brewed with malted oats, malted rye, flaked wheat. Whirlpool hopped and double dry hopped with our hand-selected blend of Talus, Citra, El Dorado Cryo, Ekuanot Cryo and Sabro. 

Vlad the Imp Aler – 11.6% ABV
A combination of quad and blond ales aged in bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with orange peel and coriander, Vlad delivers a fresh acidity and light malt sweetness with notes of bourbon, citrus and spice.

Mayan Bourbonic – 11.1% ABV
Bourbonic Plague infused with raw organic Peruvian and Dutch cacao powder, cinnamon and cayenne pepper

Nectarine Dream – 6.8% ABV
Nectarine Dream is blend of sour blond and wheat ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 14 months with fresh nectarines and a late infusion of nectarine and peach noyaux. This limited project spotlights beautifully ripened Pacific Northwest fruit that imparts flavors of fresh nectarines, tropical fruit, gummy candies and stone fruit preserves. 

Pineapple Dragon – 7.2% ABV
Pineapple Dragon features a blend of sour blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 16 months with pineapple and pink dragon fruit. Brandishing a fiery pink hue, this limited release offers flavors of fresh pineapple, kiwi, pear, watermelon and hint of white peppercorn.

Northwest Flanders – 7.1% ABV
A tribute to the historic Flanders Red Ales of West Belgium (and a reference to the vibrant NW Flanders Street in downtown Portland), Northwest Flanders is our interpretation of the classic sour beer style that has inspired so many brewers around the world. A blend of sour red ales aged for over two years in oak barrels and foudres, Northwest Flanders captures notes of plum, currant, raisin, fig and spice with hints of oak and roasted malt.

Cash Nelson – 4.7% ABV
Like the legendary outlaw country stars, Cash Nelson plays by its own rules, breaking the boundaries of style and convention. This sour golden ale was aged on oak barrels and foudres for up to 10 months then dry-hopped with Cashmere and Nelson Sauvin hops.

Chene Des Fous – 8.4% ABV
Made in collaboration with our friends at Burial Beer Company in Asheville, NC, Chêne des Fous (shen de-FOO), meaning “Oak of the Fools,” is a blend of sour triple ales aged for up to 18 months in French oak barrels with dried sumac, fresh apricots and toasted American oak chains. Intense oak flavors are met with savory lemon and dried fruit notes from the sumac and a subtle stone fruit aroma.

Woodland Pursuit – 6.5% ABV
New Zealand IPA (Nelson sauvin, Riwaka, Motueka) brewed to balance a bit of juicy sweetness with the explosive character within these three New Zealand grown hop varieties. An Excellent refreshment for your favorite outdoor moments.

BA Hazelnut Imperial Stout 2021 Mikerphone Collab – 13% ABV

Double India Pale Ale brewed with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, El Dorado + Lotus hops.

Lime in the Coconut – 4% ABV
Meet our Berliner Weisse-style ale with lime, coconut and milk sugar. It’s a hybrid of bright lime acidity and creamy coconut sweetness that will make your living room, backyard, or the taproom feel just as good as any Tahitian beach would. PB&J Sour

Tropical Milkshake
Double IPA brewed with Mango, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Guava, vanilla, milk sugar and Citra, Rakau, Lemondrop and Sabro hops 

Ambitions – 6.2% ABV
Fruited smoothie sour with pineapple, cherry & lime. This beer is very cherry and pineapple forward with hints of lime on the finish. 

dHop 35 – 8.5%
dHop 35 pours a very vibrant yellow, releasing bright tropical notes of rainbow melon, bright citrus, mango, pineapple, and peach.

Fluctuation DDH DIPA – 8.1%
Departures from Equilibrium are known as fluctuations. It pours a very hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, and lychee with an undercurrent of sorbet and cream. Fluctuation tastes highly resinous and tropical with an assertive yet soft bitterness. We consider this fluctuation to be perfectly unbalanced. 

Galaxy Flare DDH DIPA – 8.5% ABV
Starting off with a base of white wheat and flaked oats, we used our 100% hand selected Victorian Galaxy in both the whirlpool and dry hop for the hop bill. Pouring a deep hazy yellow, saturated aromas and flavors of Florida navel orange, passionfruit, lychee, and grapefruit build into a dank #EQjuice forward finish with a balanced creaminess and a touch of hop bitterness. It seems like it took us lightyears to make our first All Galaxy DIPA, but we think it was worth the wait!

Photon – 4.8% ABV
Photon is our light and crushable American Pale Ale loaded with pacific northwest hops. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits, hop resins, and a hint of biscuit. A smooth rounded bitterness with a touch of dryness ensures you’re ready for the next sip. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel that has made this the go to ale for the Equilibrium crew, especially when a productive day needs to follow a fun night.

Evergy Wave DDH DIPA – 8% ABV
We are thrilled with Dream Wave Fluctuation. We revisited the Wave treatment with one of our favorite beers by paying tribute to the other side of the MC² relationship with energy. Energy Wave takes the MC² grain bill, increases the hops, and adds a touch of lactose. Energy Wave pours a glowing hazy tangerine color, releasing bright tropical notes of mango, pineapple, lactose, and apricot. Energy Wave tastes like a succulent wave of creamy mango juice with a touch of sweet that is dangerously drinkable and balanced.

Oktoberfest 
Toasty bread and caramel notes with a firm bitterness for balance. Prost!

This thing is like a smoothie beer but not thick like a milkshake, rather thinner and crushable body with that classic Pina Colada flavor with a hit more carbonation. If you like Pineapple & Coconut this is for you!

Non- Alcoholic Italian Pilsner
Light crisp and less than 0.5% alcohol, this clean drinking beer is riddled with Hallertau Mittlefruh & Strata Hops.

Orange Cream Dbl Marbles Milkshake IPA
Milkshake Style Double India Pale Ale with Orange and Vanilla
Loads of ripe, juicy oranges emanate from the can and fill the air with its bright, citrusy aroma. A copious addition of both Amarillo and Citra hops add some tropical complexity that is rounded out with sweet vanilla and milk sugar for a dreamy creamsicle tang. (8% ABV)

Pequod News: Here’s what’s coming from Fairstate, Untitled Art, Humble Forager, Weldwerks, Wild Mind, and Modist!

The huge news in Iowa the last few weeks is the huge news of Pequod Distribution and the breweries that they will be bringing to Iowa. With a wonderfully popular portfolio the plan for distribution deliveries is the DSM market getting Tuesday/Wednesday drops and Eastern Iowa Thursday/Fridays! With that being said, here’s what’s in store from the breweries mentioned in the title above! Some in cans and some in kegs, check it out! Cheers!:

Big Doinks – Extra Dank IPA
Big Doinks is a love letter to all that we enjoy about West Coast IPAs. We’ve refined its essence down to a pure expression of resinous dankitude. We cut out the crystal malt and dialed back the bitterness from “way too much” to “hey, this is actually bitter and I like it!” levels, slammed it with our hand-selected lot of Columbus cryo, and fermented it nice and dry. It’s great, you should try it.

Crankin’ Foamers – American Lager – Collab w/Modern Times BrewingWe love lagers and we’re pretty damn happy this collab with @moderntimes is back. Foamers is made the old-fashioned way– with a cereal mash and extended lagering times for off-the-charts crispiness.

Flavor Pop Technology – Hazy IPA, 6.8% ABV
This is an IPA brewed with a couple hop varieties intended to maximize a big citrus/tropical pop. This second batch builds on the first iteration of the trial blend from YCH, with a more final product. This will be a hop blend that is targeted at active ferm dry-hopping, and available in market in 2021. 

Foamers LimeFoamers Lime was intended as a special offering for an eatery in Minneapolis, with a keg or two hitting our taproom… Then a pandemic hit and eviscerated all planned activities. We were left with an abundance of this unbelievably refreshing beer that soon became a favorite among our guests and staff. Flip the album over and here we are in 2021, with Foamers Lime back on tap and 12-packs of this new favorite on the shelves.

Heckin’ Chonker – Barrel aged Stout w/VanillaBourbon 🥃 Barrel Aged Pastry Stout with Vanilla, Heckin’ Chonker and Whiskey 🥃 & Red Wine 🍷 Barrel Aged Stout

Main Boss – Cocktail inspired Pastry Stout – Collab w/ Pulpit RockMain Boss is a brand-new collaboration with our friends from @prbrewing Inspired by mutual love of tropical rum drinks, this stout is infused with tons of coconut, molasses (for the rum notes), and our own house-made Orgeat syrup, a staple for classic rum drinks composed of almonds and citrus. It’s a big stout, but with a tropical twist.

MIRROR UNIVERSEThis Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA is brewed with wheat, oats, and far too many Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops.

Party ForwardWe brewed Party Forward with the finest wheat, oats, and Citra tropical hops. It’s soft, super fruity, and packed with bright tropical fruit notes. It’s a lively, easy-drinking IPA and packs quite a punch for being 6% ABV.

PilsThe Fancy Beer that Fine Folks Choose. To us, Pils is classic and fancy. While we loved the green can, we felt like it underestimated what was inside. This is the same great Pils you knew before, but with a reminder that we brew “Only the Highest Quality for You”.

Roselle
It’s good for chilly days and great for warm days.
Bright, tart, floral, with a dry finish. It’s as refreshing as it is pink.

Mysterious Ravine – Tart Fruit IPASweet, tart and mildly bitter. Bursting with Passion fruit aroma, waves of fresh tangerine followed by fruity zebra stripe gum notes.

Humble Bumble – Buzzed Seltzer 
Made with calamansi, Blood Orange, Tangerine, Orange blossom honey, Staghorn sumac blossom 5% ABV. If you think Untitled Art’s florida seltzers are good, wait until you try this one!

Western Skyline V1 – West Coast Double IPA 
Balanced, clean, bitter, best describes this crisp and crushable West Coast DBL IPA. Saturated with Classic hoppy notes reminiscent of misty coniferous forests.

Raspberry Mango Vanilla Smoothie seltzer thingy – Omnipollo CollabJust like the last time (Tropical Smoothie Seltzer) this one is F-ing Incredible. It might break the scoreboard – see untappd ratings for last version. Untapp’d Ratings are through the roof Link

Fruit medley – Imp Seltzer Collab with 8th State brewing
9% ABV Imperial Hard Seltzer brewed with Soursop, Cranberry, Boysenberry, Guava & Limes

Trail Mix imp stout – Humble Forager collab
This 10% Imperial Stout has a little bit of everything: sweet, salty, fruity, nutty, and chocolate. We blended all of the trail mix ingredients to give you a flavor reminiscent of the famous snack with the added bonus of the booze. Kick back this weekend with this campfire!

Mangorindo – Sour Wheat Ale brewed with Mango, Tamarind and Lime Purees
Inspiration for our beers can come from a multitude of different places, but some of our favorites, are inspired by our own staff. Drawing from their own cultural experiences, Alonzo, one of our taproom ambassadors, teamed up with Luz, one of our packaging team members to ideate on a beer that would reflect familiar flavors from their roots in Mexico.
“A lot of Mexican candy revolves around sweet, spice, and acid,” said Alonzo. “One of my favorite candies in particular are these mango suckers powdered with chile and lime salt.” The result was a sour wheat ale with mango, tamarind, lime puree and NO lactose. link

Seven layer magic bar
Milk stout brewed with milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, toasted coconut, macadamia nuts, graham cracker, and milk sugar. Link

Blackberry Raspberry cobbler – Sour Wheat Ale brewed with vanilla, milk sugar, graham cracker and nearly 4000lbs of Blackberry and Raspberry puree.
Like the perfect bite of your grandma’ cobbler after a great home cooked meal, this Blackberry Raspberry entry in our Cobbler series is sweet, tart, and all too nostalgic! As per usual, this one DOES CONTAIN LACTOSE!

Apex of the vortex
Passion fruit & Mango Fruit smoothie sour. This came out great! Loaded with passion fruit and mango, a healthy dose of wheat, and a heavy handed addition of milk sugar, Apex of the Vortex is an unapologetic smoothie-style sour ale that drinks like a tropical cocktail with a rich body and mildly acidic finish.

Eternal Optimist
Pineapple, Orange & coconut Fruit smoothie sour. Pineapple bomb in yo mouth! Brewed with mountains of wheat, Eternal Optimist pairs three of our favorite tropical fruits (pineapple, orange and coconut) together along with milk sugar to create a luscious fruit forward and tart smoothie-style beer. Notes of Hawaiian cocktails, beach sunsets, and sitting under a palm tree. Drink umbrella not included, but encouraged.

Sippin’ & Forgettin’ – Coconut & Lemon Berliner wiesse 
Berliner Weisse brewed with malted wheat, barley malt and milk sugar then conditioned on Meyer Lemon, Madagascar Vanilla Beans and toasted coconut.

Hypersolid – “6% hazy ipa” – Kegs only
