The legend is back, folks. Cousin Eddie has rolled his RV into the Clock House Brewing taproom.
This Thanksgiving, we’re keeping a beloved Cedar Rapids tradition alive as Clock House Brewing proudly hosts the Cousin Eddie Party, carrying on the legacy that Iowa Brewing Company started.
Since renovations are underway at the former Iowa Brewing taproom, this year’s event will be held at our original Clock House location. Once the updates are complete, we look forward to bringing the celebration back to Clock House on 3rd in the future.
What’s happening:
The return of Cousin Eddie’s Breakfast Ale. It’ll be as rich, ridiculous, and satisfying as your aunt’s second helping of stuffing.
A new holiday beer debut. More information to come but let’s just say it’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.
Dress code: Robes, trapper hats, slippers, fake cigars, and general Cousin Eddie chaos highly encouraged.
Music, laughter, and questionable morning decisions all included.
So, park your RV (preferably not too close to the sewer), grab your robe, and get down to Clock House Brewery bright and early.
Doors open at 7 AM because nothing says “Thanksgiving spirit” like breakfast beers before stuffing your face full of turkey.

Details on our other BA bottle coming soon! – Public online sale for ANNY will be on Sunday, November 16th at 7PM on the OZNR app. – Bottle pick up will start on November 22nd at 11am. -2025 ANNY will be sold in 500 ml bottles with a limit of one bottle per person (no repurchases) -Proxies are allowed for bottle pick-ups. -Proxies MUST be assigned on the OZNR app to retrieve bottles. -Anny bottles can be picked up during normal business hours. -Bottles of 2025 ANNY must be picked up by you or your proxy by 7pm on Sunday, December 7th, so please only buy bottles if you or a proxy can pick them up. – We will open up our garage area early (around 9am), so come down, share some beers and laughs with us before we open the doors to the taproom at 11!

In the 2025 competition, beers and ciders spanning 108 beer categories and six cider categories were judged by panels of professional judges. Winning a coveted Great American Beer Festival competition medal signifies global recognition for brewing excellence, acknowledging the quality and style accuracy of the beer or cider.
Field Day Brewing was recognized in the American Fruit Beer category for its Lime Featherweight, an American lager brewed with over 80 pounds of fresh limes in each batch. Field Day Brewing is a 15-barrel brewpub located in North Liberty, Iowa, that prides itself in its Czech and German lagers.
“Having just celebrated our two-year anniversary in August, bringing home national recognition at the most prestigious and competitive beer competition in the country was a huge win for us,” said Alec Travis, Owner/Director of Brewing Operations at Field Day. “Unfortunately, we were the only Iowa brewery to secure any medals this year, which is out of the ordinary. Nonetheless, we were honored to help put Iowa on the map for world class beer in 2025 like many have before us. This wasn’t just a win for Field Day Brewing and Lime Featherweight; it was a win for the brewing industry in Iowa as a whole.”
This year’s results revealed 273 breweries and cideries earned 347 medals out of over 8,500 entries. The Great American Beer Festival panel of judges evaluated noteworthy brews and ciders across 108 beer categories, six cider categories, and the Pro-Am and Collaboration competitions.
“The Great American Beer Festival competition is the ultimate proving ground, recognizing the absolute best in innovation and craftsmanship from brewers all over the country. Earning a medal here, whether it’s gold, silver, or bronze, is an incredible, career-defining achievement that signifies a brew’s excellence against the most rigorous standards in the industry,” remarked Chris Williams, competition director for the Brewers Association. “The Brewers Association proudly celebrates the accomplishments of every single medal winner.”
The awards ceremony, live-streamed on The Brewing Network on Saturday, October 11, 2025, was held in the festival hall at the Colorado Convention Center as part of the Great American Beer Festival before Saturday’s session.
