B. Nektar Cherry Chipotle12/375ml – Delicious Deep ruby-red Still Mead with a well balanced Chipotle Heat finish. 14% ABV. ***Limited***

B. Nektar Blood Amulet 12/500ml – Fresh pressed Michigan cider, raspberry, & cranberry. 6.2% ABV.

B. Nektar Believe (American Gods) 12/500ml. Collab. with the critically acclaimed TV show American Gods. Believe is Fresh Pressed Michigan Cider and Orange Blossom Honey. 5.6% ABV.

B. Nektar Core Crusher 12/500ml – Bone-dry hard cider. Encompassing the apple in its entirety. Slightly tannic with balanced acidity and medium body. Notes of earth and barn wood complement the dry, refreshing finish. 6.5% ABV.

B. Nektar Prickly Pear Kill All The Golfers 12/500ml. Rich Honey and notes of Prickly Pear fruit contribute a mild sweetness followed by mildly bitter black tea and tart notes of lemon. 6% ABV.

B. Nektar NECRO 12/500ml – Mango mead with black pepper. Fruity mango wine backed by citrusy honey brightness. Finishes with lively black pepper. 6.2% ABV.

B. Nektar Zombie Killer 12/500ml – Deep Pink Hard Cider with Michigan Star Thistle Honey and Tart Cherries. Perfection. 5.5% ABV.

Moonlight Monkey Bread 12/375ml – Mead from Certified Organic Brazilian Wildflower Honey with Banana, Cinnamon, and Fresh Maple Syrup. Smooth bananas and fresh maple syrup combine with a kiss of cinnamon to create a delicious dessert style mead reminiscent of banana bread. Almost has a pecan nuttiness as well. 14% ABV.

Moonlight Meadery Sensual 12/375ml. Sweet Wildflower honey mead. 15.3% ABV.

Moonlight Meadery Smitten 12/375ml – Sweet Peach Mead. Fresh and juicy like a fresh peach on a summer day. Delicate floral honey accentuates the peaches to create an irresistible mead that’s sure to leave you smitten. 14% ABV.

Moonlight Meadery Paramour 12/375ml – Black Currant, Black Cherry, Black Raspberry, Blueberry Mead. Rich and complex layers of juicy sweet berry flavor and soft tartness greet the palate. 14% ABV

Moonlight Meadery Madagascar 12/375ml – Made from Madagascar-Bourbon vanilla beans, honey, water, and yeast. Then vanilla flowers blend with the honey to create this delicious delight, with a strong yet balanced flavor, the aroma is of vanilla and the local New Hampshire wildflower honey. 13.7% ABV.

Moonlight Meadery Blissful 12/375ml – Made from honey, black currants, blueberries, and black raspberries. A delicious and juicy berry combination with a slightly tart finish. The flavor is bold enough to pair with any meal, dark chocolates, or with a cheese plate. 14% ABV.

Moonlight BA How Do You Like Them Apples 24/12oz CAN – Bourbon Barrel Aged New England Style Sparkling Sweet Hard Cider. Barrels Aged for a minimum of 6 months. 13.5% ABV.

Moonlight Little Apples 6/4/12oz CAN – Semi Dry Hard Cider Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. Made with the finest New England Apples. 6.5% ABV.

If you’re a fan of ciders you can start rejoicing as Abu Nawas has announced that they will be getting Eden Speciality Ciders and the distro for those will be starting next week. Here’s more from Abu Nawas:

We’ve been working for years to bring you the incredible cider from way, way northern Vermont. We are honoured to bring you Eden Ciders of Newport, Vermont

Eden produces a wide range of unique Ciders with the jewel of crown being their Ice Ciders–their versions are the most sought after and highly prized examples of this unique form of cider made in North America. It takes over 8 lbs. of apples to make one 375ml bottle of ice cider! We have all their offerings in limited stock! All are 375ml Skinny Tall Bottles. Heirloom Blend, Honey Crisp and Barrel Aged Northern Spy.

Another product from Eden that we are extremely excited about is the Orleans Aperitif Ciders. A Farm to Bar alternative to the more industrial European Aperitif Wines commonly used in cocktails. We will sell these as a mixed case of 2 bottles each of Herbal, Bitter and Wood. All are 750ml.

In October of last year, the United States Association of Cider Makers released a set of style guidelines for cider. The purpose was to start providing some broad standards to a category that is nearly as diverse as wine and beer. The intention ultimately is to give cider drinkers a better chance of choosing a bottle off the retail shelf or the restaurant menu that they might actually enjoy drinking. One key distinction in the guidelines is between ‘Modern’ cider and ‘Heritage’ cider. Heritage ciders are made exclusively from apples – without other fruits, spices or non-apple flavourings. Modern ciders are made from dessert variety apples, whereas Heritage ciders are made with heirloom and cider variety apples and are likely made with more traditional wine-making approaches. Because of the very limited supply, we are doing a mixed case of each of the Heritage Ciders as well as one bottle each of Eden’s flagship ciders: Dry Sparkling and Imperial Rose.

And Lastly, we have the latest addition which is Eden Authentic Heritage Cider in a Can. Hailed by the New York Times as “the best canned cider I have ever had.” Their words not ours, but we wholeheartedly agree. Made from 100% New England Apples, this off-dry cider is packed with flavor without the cloying sweetness of a lot of commercial ciders. Refreshing, immensely drinkable, this cider will see you through your entire meal.
